About MIMMO
Over three generations of masons working with Italian stone passed down their passion for precise work and refined technique to Mr. Caratozzolo in his formative years. At a young age he apprenticed to his father, and studied Architecture at the J.M. Wright Technical School after emigrating to the United States in 1976. Mr. Caratozzolo entered the family business as a full time mason after completing his studies and commenced to work with many highly respected landscape designers and architects. For over 19 years, he has led his own closeknit team of skilled stonemasons on projects at prestigious residences in Fairfield County, Westchester County, and Long Island, on projects ranging from pools and spas, under his Artistic Pools brand, to terraces and outdoor kitchens. Mr. Caratozzolo has a personal charm and enthusiasm that he brings to all of his work, and is most proud of the projects that transform a client’s outdoor living space into something truly extraordinary.
